Sustainable mobility concept and CSRD reporting

As an informed employer, you have probably already heard of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). It is a groundbreaking directive that was adopted by the European Parliament in November 2022. This new regulation requires companies to report more comprehensively and transparently on their environmental, social and governance performance and its impact.

Which companies does this apply to

  • All companies listed on an EU-regulated market and their subsidiaries, with the exception of micro-entities.

  • Non-capital market-oriented companies that meet at least two of the following three criteria: Balance sheet total over €20 million, net sales over €40 million and/or more than 250 employees.

  • Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with at least ten employees and a capital market orientation.

  • Non-European companies that generate net sales of more than 150 million euros in the EU and have at least one subsidiary or branch office in the EU.

Corporate Mobility & CSRD

Report in compliance and become greener: with a customized mobility concept

Corporate mobility is part of the CSRD reporting obligation. Companies must disclose detailed information on the environmental impact of their mobility. The Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG) serves as a standard for balancing CO2 emissions and divides them into three scopes:

Scope 1: Direct emissions from own facilities and machinery, including the vehicle fleet and business trips.

Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased energy, e.g. electricity.

Scope 3: Indirect emissions along the value chain, including employee commuting and business travel.

All data for mandatory reporting: simply prepared with the Mobinck MobilityScan

Less parking pressure, more vitality

If more and more employees switch from cars to bicycles or public transport over time, parking pressure will decrease throughout the company. Your company will also be able to offer better parking facilities for visitors or business partners.

Transparency & optimization

The Mobility Scan records the commuting patterns and mobility needs of employees. Based on this data, companies can develop sustainable mobility alternatives: e.g. electrification of the fleet, mobility budgets or incentive systems for cycling.

Insights into bicycle use

The Mobinck Mobility Scan reveals sustainable mobility alternatives and potential savings: offers for cycling, for example, lead to a long-term reduction in car use on the way to work. This relieves the environment and reduces the CO2 emissions that would otherwise be generated on the way to work.

Scenario analysis

In the Mobinck Mobility Scan, you can adjust all parameters relating to company mobility and run through various scenarios. What is the impact of one extra home office day per week? How much CO2 can you save if employees who live less than 6 km away from their workplace come to work by bike?
